Park-day essentials

All tips →
1

Arrive before opening

The first hour is the shortest-wait hour of the day. Head for the headliner first.

2

Take a midday break

Pool or nap in the heat of the day, then come back for evening shows and fireworks.

3

Book dining early

Sought-after Disney tables go fast; book as soon as the window opens for the guest's dates.

4

Use the official apps

Live wait times, mobile food ordering and paid line-skip options are all in each park's app.

When is the best time to visit?

Late January to early March, or mid-September to mid-November, for milder weather and lighter crowds.

Do I need a car?

Not if you stay at Disney and focus on its parks. Yes if you want Universal, the coast or day trips; rideshare covers the gaps.

How do I get from MCO to my hotel?

Mears Connect shuttle (24/7, (407) 423-5566), rideshare or taxi from the terminal curb, or a car service. See Getting Around.

How many days do I need?

Plan about one day per park, plus a rest day for every three or four park days.

Is Epic Universe included with a Universal ticket?

It needs its own ticket and there is no park-to-park access, so give it a full day.

Can I get into Sorekara?

It's fully committed; join the Tock waitlist. For a sure thing on the same street, try Camille (Tock, no walk-ins).
